Leaders and Founders of

Hearts Like Hannah’s

“Wade and I have been married for over 20 years. We have two boys on earth, four babies in heaven due to miscarriage, and spent years not being able to conceive. Although we were both saved as children, God completely TRANSFORMED our hearts through our infertility and infant loss journey, deepening our faith and giving us the heart to minister to the hurting. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to share our story with churches, community groups, medical professionals, seminary classes, and various media outlets. Our heart is to offer support and a place of refuge for others navigating this silent grief.

Since that time, Wade and I have dedicated our lives to helping women and men navigate infertility, pregnancy, infant loss, and hard seasons of life. Together, we meet with couples and individuals virtually and in person to share our journey and offer biblical counseling and discipleship. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to share our story with churches, community groups, a seminary, and radio and podcast avenues. In 2020, I received my Biblical Counseling Certification from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I currently serve on the board of Soul Care Network, a non-profit organization that provides biblical counseling services. For more information, check out our story here.”

I found Hearts like Hannah’s in 2016 when suffering from secondary infertility after having already gone through one miscarriage years prior. At Hearts like Hannah’s I found women who understood infertility and loss and who cared about both my infertility journey and my spiritual journey.

I became a Christian in 2002 and experienced life-changing personal faith in Jesus Christ followed by years growing in biblical knowledge and maturing in faith. Despite this, years later suffering led to spiritual confusion and by 2016 I found myself in need of reconnecting with God.

God used the women of Hearts like Hannah’s to speak compelling truth into me, including the truth that my identity and fullness are found in my relationship with my heavenly Father, not in motherhood. I am so grateful for a God who never gives up on us and for the compassion and biblical truth I found through Hearts like Hannah’s. My desire in being part of Hearts like Hannah’s is to come alongside other women with the same compassion and support that I found.

“I came to know Christ at age 8 and am sanctified daily.

I have been married to my husband, Monty, for 35 years.  We have two daughters and are the proud grandparents of three blessings on earth and two we look forward to meeting in heaven.

I found Hearts Like Hannah’s (or rather it found me) in 2018 after the loss of our granddaughter, Melanie Kate, to stillbirth.  After being served through the ministry I became part of the leadership team.

My heart is to walk along side individuals and couples going through difficult times and point them to the love of the Father.”

Meredith Zahorsky

“I was born and raised in Jackson, MS and still say “yes ma’am” and “yes sir” to anyone older than me. At 14, I accepted Christ and began to be drawn to helping others who were hurting. After college, I felt led to get my Masters in counseling and have been counseling others ever since that time.

After experiencing a season of infertility, miscarriages, and a stillbirth, I felt like God was asking me to write down my story of how God sustained me in the darkest season I have walked through. Through my book, Magnificent Grief, counseling, and speaking opportunities, I try to take every opportunity to point others to the love of Christ.

I am married to Kyle, and we have three children on earth and 3 children in heaven. In my free time, I love running, being outside, and watching my children play sports. Oh yeah, and I love pickleball (like really love it).”

“I was raised in church and at age 7 I accepted Christ. I knew that I believed in Jesus and that He loved me. However, my knowledge of who He truly was and His biblical truths didn’t come until true suffering hit my life. Through my pain with loss and infertility,  I started to learn the truth of a good God. As a result, I dedicated myself to follow, learn, and love Him through the good and the bad.

I have been married to my husband, Jonn, for 17 years. We struggled with unexplained infertility for 10 years. We have two children ages 7 and 4 on earth and one child in heaven.

God led me to Hearts Like Hannah’s in 2022 after many years being unaware of my unbiblical thinking. God has used this ministry to reveal more of Himself in times of hurting. He has shown me where He was when I felt all alone and how we can support others who are walking through similar pain.

I also serve on Hearts Like Hannah’s alongside others as we come together to support one another on a weekly basis. “

“I came to know Christ at age 12. I didn’t always follow Him faithfully until I struggled with infertility, which thankfully brought me back to Him.

I have been married to my husband, Kyle, for 10 years. We have battled infertility for 8 years, have had multiple rounds of IUI (one successful), and have 1 child on earth and 2 in heaven.

I found Hearts Like Hannah’s in 2018 in the deepest of suffering with infertility, and this ministry has continued to support me through more loss and longing for a baby. I felt called to serve within the church in 2023 and began serving as content writer and creator for Hearts Like Hannah’s.

I have also felt called to write about my experiences on a personal blog (www.jesusandtoddlers.com)  to share my story with others. I hope to support women and men through their suffering through the love of Christ as I have been supported by this ministry.”
