Wade and Britni Julian
Founders of Hearts Like Hannah’s
A Letter from Wade Julian:
Being adopted, I always knew I wanted biological children. When I married Britni, I thought having a baby would be easy, but God had other plans. This journey of infertility and infant loss was really hard for me. I did not have men in my life, at that time, who could relate, support me or give me ideas of how I could support my wife. When we think of infertility and infant loss support, we tend to think of women, but I desperately needed men in my life to encourage and support me too. If I can help any men out there, know I am here to connect virtually or in person.
A Letter from Britni Julian:
I wish I could speak to each of you in person, look into your eyes, and let you know YOU ARE NOT ALONE, and your story and babies matter. I can tell you, NOTHING in life has wounded me as profoundly as our pursuit to be called “Mom and Dad.” There are NO words to express the hurt and devastation of this journey. The SILENT GRIEF and emotions are painful, all-consuming, isolating, and many times are experienced differently by women and men. Whether you are single, married, a bereaved grandparent, or another extended family member, our heart is to offer a place of refuge for your weary soul and a loving community to support you. No matter where you live, we have virtual and in-person resources and support for both women and men. I pray for your courage to reach out to us.
