Proverbs 13:24

The one who will not use the rod hates his son, but the one who loves him disciplines him diligently.

Proverbs 19:18

Discipline your son while there is hope; don’t set your heart on being the cause of his death.

Proverbs 22:6

Start a youth out on his way; even when he grows old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 29:15, 17

A rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a youth left to himself is a disgrace to his mother. (17) Discipline your child, and it will bring you peace of mind and give you delight.

Ephesians 6:1-3

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, because this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, so that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life in the land.
